Recent Hampton Lake George Review: "the hotel is in a great location just 1 min south of the main lake george "strip". the breakfast is great- waffles, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, etc. the hotel itself is very nicely kept as well. the only "bad" thing was when i checked in, the room they first assigned us to was apparently not yet changed over from the last guestr i walk into a room with the the bed unmade, the bathroom light on and TV blaring on. my husband and i backed right out of there because we thought we might've walked in on somebody but there was no one in there at the time. the front desk was confused, but apologized and assigned us a new room (which was right next to the first room actually). the second room was great- no problems! :-) other than the minor room issue, i have no complaints about the hotel or my stay!"
